Too Many Games! (Ep 373)

Too Many Games! (Ep 373)

March 31, 2021

We are spoiled for choice right now, and Brad can't decide which game he should sink his teeth into next. Micah makes a compelling case for Disco Elysium. Might we have reason for optimism for a video game movie with Ghost of Tsushima? Call of Duty is going to give World War II a try with their next game. And Cyberpunk 2077 has put out a bevy of fixes but it's probably still not enough to make us care.

Department of FaZe (Ep 371)

March 16, 2021

Don’t Piss on My Leg and Tell Me It’s a Great Experience (Ep 370)

Don’t Piss on My Leg and Tell Me It’s a Great Experience (Ep 370)

March 9, 2021

Strauss Zelnick had deemed the market ready for $70 games, so $70 games we shall have! We discuss the merits of this and later, the merits of preordering in a gaming world where even the biggest games can launch incomplete. We also discuss the Six Days in Fallujah publisher facing reality, Brad's initial impressions of Final Fantasy VII Remake, and why a new Switch probably isn't going to be worth the cost.

RIP in Peace, Anthem (Ep 369)

RIP in Peace, Anthem (Ep 369)

March 2, 2021

We pour one out for our buddy Anthem and bask in EA finally - apparently - seeing the light. It's also Square week apparently, as we have lots to say about Bravely Default II, Outriders, Project Triangle Strategy, and Final Fantasy VII Remake - Intergrade. Google Stadia has reportedly been a cluster f, lots of exciting Pokemon news was announced last week, and I guess there was also a State of Play...allegedly?
